DIGITAL FOOTPRINTS WORKSHOP

As part of the AIwareness project, we are developing practical workshops that help youth workers teach young people how to stay safe and responsible online.

One of our sessions focuses on Digital Footprints — the traces we leave behind on the internet.

Through interactive role-play activities, participants explore how their online actions can influence reputation, opportunities, and relationships. By stepping into different perspectives (such as a friend, employer, or viewer), young people better understand the long-term impact of what they post and share online.

What participants learn:
• How digital footprints are created
• How others interpret online content
• How online behaviour can affect future opportunities
• How to build a responsible digital identity

Methods used:
Role play, group discussion, and real-life scenarios.

This workshop is part of the AIwareness methodology, developed to strengthen digital literacy and help young people navigate online environments safely.
