Educators are highly active in digital environments — most use digital tools several times a day in workshops, mentoring, group sessions and learning programs. Awareness of online risks is strong, especially around privacy, misinformation, cyberbullying, phishing, and AI-related threats like deepfakes.
However, when it comes to AI, experience varies:
👉 Some already use AI for admin and learning support
👉 Others want to learn but lack time or guidance
👉 Almost everyone wants training
The message is clear: educators are ready — but they need practical, hands-on training to confidently use AI safely in youth work.
Peer learning, modular training, and real-life examples could make a big difference in supporting both educators and young people to navigate the digital world safely.
